Notice Regarding PAN/VAT Bills
In the past few weeks, we have been getting requests for PAN bill for the purchase of WordCamp Pokhara tickets.
We regret to inform you that we cannot provide you the PAN bills. WordCamps are casual community events. It is run by local volunteers and the ticket prices you pay are not for generating profits. Instead, the surplus amounts are used for the next WordCamp, Meet ups and WordPress Events in the country. That means, the volunteers and the organizers don’t receive any remuneration.
WordCamps are not run by a private company and therefore the PAN is not registered for WordCamp Pokhara.

WordCamp Pokhara, Nepal is an annual event organized by the WordPress Community of Pokhara, a group of WordPress enthusiasts. WordCamps are casual, locally organized, volunteer-run events. The main objectives of these events are to bring together all WordPress lovers, provide them a networking platform, share their experiences and give back to the community. One of the main objectives of WordCamp Pokhara, Nepal is to bring out local talents and expose it to the community and the whole world.

In-Kind Sponsorship is that kind of Sponsorship where sponsors can donate goods or services rather than cash as their sponsorship. These goods/services will be distributed to the participants.
The only constraint is that the goods or services will also have to feature a symbolic representation of WordCamp Pokhara 2019. For the symbolism, the logo of the WordPress Pokhara, text ‘WordCamp Pokhara 2019’ or #WCPKR2019 can be used.

Volunteers are the life blood of the WordCamps and we love that you want to help us make the event best and successful. We’ve received a HUGE response of applications for volunteers so we can’t accept any more applications for this year. You can still contribute by attending the event and grab the most of this event.
Wordcamp Pokhara 2019 is going to take place on 7th & 8th December, 2019 and the team is looking for amazing speakers to share their knowledge, skill, insight, and experience among the welcoming community in Pokhara. It is the second WordCamp happening in Pokhara, the organizers are looking forward to creating a grand event.
The WordCamp Pokhara 2019 team encourages the best speakers from any location throughout the WordPress community and beyond to submit their session ideas. If you work on other Open Source projects or web design and development in general and think the WordPress community could benefit from your story, share it with everyone at WCPKR2019. Accessibility, user experience, web content strategy, design, diversity, business, community —WCPKR 2019 is going to offer a wide-range of talks that folks from all walks of life can learn from.
If you’ve never spoken in public before and wondering if you’re eligible to apply for speakers at WCPKR2019, then hesitate not! You do not need any talking experience and you do not have to be a pro at public speaking. Also, you will have a few practice sessions before the main event and you will also get the opportunity to be one of the presenters at a local WordPress Meetup in the upcoming months.
WordCamp Pokhara encourages first time Speakers, we do not require you to be a pro or some TEDx Speaker. Even if you haven’t spoken anywhere among the mass, don’t let that hold you back!
We have a special plan of actions to course you through before the main event by having practice sessions and giving you the opportunity to be one of the presenters of WordPress Meetup in the upcoming months.
All we ask is that you be able to present your chosen topic diligently and respectfully. And, if you don’t have the topic in hand, we can always talk it through – your enthusiasm and eagerness come first!
Presentations will be of 20 minutes duration with 5 minutes of Q&A sessions.

WordCamp Pokhara is one among many WordCamps that happen around the world each year. If you already know about WordCamp 2019 but you’re still considering whether to go or not, these five reasons make it a must-attend event.

WordCamp is a casual conference with cool people that make networking super fun. No professional suits. No long-lasting lectures that put you to sleep. No awkward moments when you try to network. There is no pepper them air in the atmosphere. We advise you get in your best comfortable attire and shoes because you will move around a lot, not an outfit that will make you praying the day goes by so fast because we promise you won’t want the day to end that fast.
5. Great For Users And Bloggers: You don’t have to be a developer, coder, or WordPress professional. You can be using WordPress for the first time, or just trying to figure out how to better your own business or website. You can find out how to use social media or content marketing to make your business better and talk with people that have made it work for themselves.
