Wordcamp Pokhara 2019 is going to take place on 7th & 8th December, 2019 and the team is looking for amazing speakers to share their knowledge, skill, insight, and experience among the welcoming community in Pokhara. It is the second WordCamp happening in Pokhara, the organizers are looking forward to creating a grand event.<\/span><\/p>\n

The WordCamp Pokhara 2019 team encourages the best speakers from any location throughout the WordPress community and beyond to submit their session ideas. If you work on other Open Source projects or web design and development in general and think the WordPress community could benefit from your story, share it with everyone at WCPKR2019. Accessibility, user experience, web content strategy, design, diversity, business, community \u2014WCPKR 2019 is going to offer a wide-range of talks that folks from all walks of life can learn from.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve never spoken in public before and wondering if you\u2019re eligible to apply for speakers at WCPKR2019, then hesitate not! You do not need any talking experience and you do not have to be a pro at public speaking. Also, you will have a few practice sessions before the main event and you will also get the opportunity to be one of the presenters at a local WordPress Meetup in the upcoming months.<\/span><\/p>\n

BENEFITS OF SPEAKING AT WORDCAMP POKHARA, NEPAL<\/h4>\n

  1. Speakers will be offered free admission for a day-long WordCamp Pokhara event.<\/li>\n
  2. Your presentation will be recorded and hosted on WordPress.tv and also get recognition in the WordPress Community.<\/li>\n
  3. Speakers are welcome to apply at WordCamp Pokhara, from within Nepal or just anywhere in the universe. So, if you are reading this somewhere from Mars, please do not hesitate to apply.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. We do not emphasize on any categorization or background for this filling: you\u2019re welcome to apply if you are a blogger, designer, developer, content manager, influencer,\u00a0 educator or anyone who has directly or indirectly used WordPress passionately and significantly.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. And even if you are outside the WordPress community and you think you got something to share that would benefit our community, we want to hear from you on WordCamp Pokhara.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    YOU DON\u2019T NEED TO BE A PRO SPEAKER TO SPEAK AT WORDCAMP\u00a0POKHARA<\/h4>\n

    WordCamp Pokhara encourages first time Speakers, we do not require you to be a pro or some TEDx Speaker. Even if you haven\u2019t spoken anywhere among the mass, don\u2019t let that hold you back!<\/span><\/p>\n

    We have a special plan of actions to course you through before the main event by having practice sessions and giving you the opportunity to be one of the presenters of WordPress Meetup in the upcoming months.<\/span><\/p>\n

    All we ask is that you be able to present your chosen topic diligently and respectfully. And, if you don\u2019t have the topic in hand, we can always talk it through \u2013 your enthusiasm and eagerness come first!<\/span><\/p>\n

    Presentations will be of 20 minutes duration with 5 minutes of Q&A sessions.<\/span><\/p>\n
